LEICESTER v WOLVES, PREVIEW

Sunday May 14, 2017
WOLVERHAMPTON face a rare Monday away meeting when they head to Midland rivals Leicester (May 15, 7.30).

The Parrys International Wolves currently sit top of the SGB Premiership table after a run of five straight league wins.

Rising reserve star Nathan Greaves has been an improved contributor during those results and is hoping both he and his team-mates can add to their tally at Beaumont Park.

Said Greaves: “After some good scores at home, my confidence is really starting to come back – now it’s time to perform in our away meetings!

“The team have helped me a lot and scoring points as part of a winning team is the best feeling in the world.

“Our results are speaking for themselves now and we deserve to be at the top of the league with how we’ve all been riding.

“We just need to keep working hard, make sure we don’t take our foot off the gas and pick up as many wins as we can.”

The Parrys International Wolves will be at full strength, with skipper Freddie Lindgren leading the side fresh from his tremendous victory in Saturday’s Warsaw Speedway Grand Prix.

Leicester hand a debut to all action-star Jason Garrity, while the Lions also include British Champion Danny King as well as ex-Wolves racers Lasse Bjerre and Josh Bates.

LEICESTER: Kim Nilsson, Erik RIss, Lasse Bjerre, Jason Garrity, Danny King, Josh Bates, Danny Ayres

WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Kyle Howarth, Rory Schlein, Jacob Thorssell, Sam Masters, Mark Riss, Nathan Greaves.
